Importance of invasive exotic plants as reservoirs of phytoviruses responsible for diseases of cultivated plant on Reunion Island.
14/03/2024I am currently enrolled in the first year of a Master’s Degree in Microorganism-Host-Environment Interactions at the Science University of Montpellier; France, and will be graduating in 2025. Thanks to this formation, I will be doing a 4-month internship and 6-month internship next year, which will allow me to get a lot of diverse experiences.
04/09/2023I completed a voluntary 2-month internship in microbiology at LISM (Laboratoire d'Ingénierie des Systèmes Macromoléculaires) in Marseille, France, under the supervision of Eric Cascales. During this time, I had the opportunity to study an auxiliary protein of the Type VI secretion system, characterizing its role in system assembly through Knock-Out experiments and fluorescence microscopy observations. I also conducted statistical analyses to validate the results and lay the foundation for future research on this protein. Additionally, I engaged in crystallization efforts to determine the protein's structure, which is an ongoing project in the laboratory.
12/06/20233 years licence in cellular biology, options microbiology, immunology and Eukaryotic/Prokaryotic Molecular Genetics. I also had additional courses in engineering and professional development.
